Ian Dailey is the co-founder, President and CEO of Heartland IT Consulting, a boutique firm specializing in the implementation of Oracle ERP systems. Ian is also the COO of Hindsight Advantage, a venture created to assist high school students’ transition into college athletic programs. Formerly Ian worked for the Global Inspectorate of PriceWaterhouseCoopers, evaluating individual member firms for compliance with regulatory and network standards.
In addition to serving on the board of EducateDallas, he serves on the Dallas County Jr. Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Big Thought, and is an active committee member of Food for Thought, and United Way’s Young Leaders Society. Ian formerly served as the President of CREW, the young professionals of the North Texas Make-A-Wish Foundation, and remains an active Wish Grantor for children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Ian believes in the power of mentoring, and is a proud Big Brother to Alex, as well as serving on the Associate Board for the SMU COX School of Business and sponsoring the SMU Cox rugby team, where he both formally and informally mentors a cadre of young adults. In 2011 Ian was recognized as one of the 40 under 40 by the Dallas Furniture Bank.
Ian was born and raised in the United Kingdom, and earned his degree in Environmental Science from York University. He has one son, Jack, and in his spare time loves to cook, spend time with family/friends and enjoys traveling the world, so far exploring 89 countries.
